Weather Surprises

Good morning, everyone!

I felt the need to create a post immediately after waking for three reasons.

1. I will probably become busier during the day and forget to write a post later.
2. There's "exciting" news to share that will probably disappear in a few hours.
3. What reason #1 said.

So I woke up after sleeping like a rock, got up to look out the window, and what do I see? Any guesses? *Insert Jeopardy tune here* .... *Drumroll* .... SNOW. Yes, snow. I know this is not nearly as "exciting" as you were probably thinking, but it's only October 4th, and that just seems a tiny bit early for snow. I have mixed feelings about this white stuff here. On one hand it's pretty to look at, and it will probably be completely melted by later today. On the other hand, I still absolutely hate driving in the snow, but I don't think I'll have to worry about that too much due to the fact that I work at home, so that is a plus!

Amber, Eric, Torsten, and I were going to head up to their condo in the mountains this weekend, but this snowy and not so enjoyable weather wouldn't make driving conditions very fun, and apparently the aspens might not be as pretty to look at this weekend anyways. So that is still currently up in the air. I'd like to go, but I also wouldn't mind waiting until a later time when there would be more to do (skiing, snowboarding, etc.).

Anyways...I've got to crack down on some homework that is due today and on Sunday. It's a good day to stay cuddled up indoors...it's now raining, cold, and overcast.

I hope everyone can stay cuddled up and warm on this dreary day. :)

♥ Jane

*Added update at 8:04am: It is now snowing again instead of raining.
